CPAP tubing looks simple, but diameter, device settings, heated-hose electronics and connector design can affect compatibility. A hose physically fitting a port does not always mean it should be used without checking the device manual.
15 mm vs 22 mm
Respmart carries a Philips 15 mm standard tube and a 22 mm CPAP/BiPAP tube. Some PAP devices have a tube-type setting because resistance differs with diameter.
Heated tubing
Heated tubing is designed to manage temperature and humidity and can reduce condensation when used with compatible humidification systems. ResMed documents ClimateLineAir compatibility by device family, and Respmart carries a Philips 15 mm heated tube.
Compatibility checklist
- Device make and exact model
- Standard or heated hose support
- Connector and electrical interface
- Required tube-diameter setting
- Length and manufacturer-approved configuration
Browse hoses, tubes and connectors. For condensation problems, see CPAP rainout.
